I’ve also added square tubing inside the hull to create more realistic main flood holes (I’ve had to thin out the walls quite a bit to cut out the holes properly, so the walls looked too thin through the holes).

The next pictures should give you a general idea on the modifications I have done to the flood holes on the kit. I have also made some exhausts for the kit based on the ones on U-2518. These were made using the Mission Model photoetch bending tool (this was another new experience for me as I have never worked with photoetch before).
