Adalbert Schnee's U-2511 (April, 1945)

I’ve also planned to add a couple of 1/144 modified figures by Preiser, but these have not arrived in time, so I will probably sadd them later on.
You may also notice that aside from some pre-shading and a light wash, I’ve hardly done any weathering on the model. I’ve overdone it (also while learning) on my XXIII, so I am a little afraid of trying it on this light colored boat. Schnee’s boat did not appear to have much rust anyway, but I may add just a bit later when I get better at weathering.

In conclusion, even after all my modifications, I still find many flaws in the model; something I am looking to eventually correct in my remaining XXI model. I also have a Revell 1/144 VIID which I will be adding to my 1/144 fleet soon.
I hope you enjoy the model and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

This is what I really like, somebody taking the time and effort to research an item and do as good a job as they can to recreate it. This is modeling. Great job.
