Oil was added to the water in the form of straight Polly S RLM 22 black paint. Aerial photos of the harbor after the attack show diesel oil streaming past battleship row from the sunken U.S.S. Arizona. There is a crack in the pinewood plaque used for the base that wasn't successfully filled with the Modge Podge. I hid this under a motor launch and some wakes from the traversing boat. Call me lazy.
That's All Folks
Well that was simple and relatively easy to do. Not a pleasant scene to model and I actually had second thoughts about doing it, but with the display quickly approaching, I wanted at least one new model to show for it.
