First of all, remove the pieces you want to join from the sprues and prepare them accordingly for glueing. For this example, I am using Mr Cement. It is a lot easier to apply to the pieces with the supplied brush that trying to drizzle on glue as you would have to with other brands like Humbrol.
Apply a generous amount of glue to each piece (not too much though as it can melt the plastic and make removal a pain).
