Thanks guys, I'm quite honored by the kind comments...she has a long way to go though, and hopefully it won't be another year between updates!

I still am planning on a lot more detail to be added to the vessel, including canopies and a bit o' weather, and the water effect needs much more attention of color and foam....

I have a fellow club member that served on the USS Petrel (ASR-14). He told me that they painted her before they left port and on the way back. They even carried a jon boat to be able to get to the waterline.
