Excellent Russell! Nice to see a ship that doesn't look like it has been at sea for 10 years..

Just one question, why is the prop red? I suppose it hasn't had a chance to have the paint worn off yet.

Cheers

Thanks guys! really appreciate the comments.

The prop was painted in what Mr Humbrol says is pure bronze. In so saying it is meant to be unweathered, but it seems to have come across a lot more red in the photos....

Hi Russell,

It turned out really nice.

I really like what you have done with the base, those support blocks are exquisite.

Cheers,
Joe

Looks bronze to me Russell, just been looking at your "beauty shots" of the Jeremiah. Not a trace of red even with the saturday morning bloodshot eyes

Hehe-I'll post a pic of the tinlet tomorrow; it really is a very reddish bronze, but bronze nonetheless

Rather amazing how they built the Liberties.

Fantastic link Julian. I haven't seen that before, so thank you. They sure were (and still are) amazing vessels. Designed for just one journey and yet gave so much more...

Here's the pic of the Bronze paint from Mr Humbrol. It is a very 'red' bronze.

A great looking build. I agree with you on the fitting of the hull and deck. Hats off to you on your rigging skills!
