Hello All,
I am sorry I missed approving the campaign and that Jim had to do it. I am in very intense physical therapy for my leg so I can use my new wooden one.
I will take care of the prizes for the OOB contest. I have a
1/700 USS Maryland BB-61 1941, a 1/350 USS Cheavalier DD-805 1945 and a 1/144 U-Boat Type IIB 1939.
I hope that will be OK to the Campaign Leader. We also need to make sure that the MSW Staffers kmow that they are going to be the judges.
Cheers,
Bruce
Glad to hear you are on the mend Bruce.
Does me being a staffer mean I can't be involved? I am getting confused..
Only official editors from MSW are excluded from taking part. A part time contributor/helper can take part. Just myself, Bruce, Jeremy, and Ken and excluded from taking part.

Things have gone quiet here!
I ordered the Eduard PE rails from LuckyModel last night, I feel myself being drawn into a deep dark place here. You guys are evil.

I just finished sixty 20mm Oerlikons for my CV-14... shudder. I don't really want to see another one for a while.

D- I am a bit busy right now but I shall give this more attention from early July. We'll have a bit more going on then. You'll see that ship modelling is quite a bit differnt from aeroplanes.
Warren - I can feel your pain!

Cheers, boyz!

It seems the interest has dropped off for this campaign. Are people still wanting to have this happen?

Hi, Jim!
Somewhere above we had agreed to let it rest until the end of this months and go with the campaign starting January with a duration of 10 months, IIRC.
I am too busy right now to run the show.
Don't worry, we'll get that thing going.
Cheers,
Guido

Guido,
Sounds good to me, I should have a clearer workbench by then.
Certainly will after Scalemodelworld & 50th Anniversary of IPMS UK in November.

I missed about letting things rest. But, I understand that. I just had a free few minutes so I thought I would bring it back up.

Hello Guido,
When you get a few minutes, You need to get the rules up. I would suggest you go back and look at the old campaign. It might give you some help when you write up the ruled.
Cheers,
Bruce

Great news Bruce!!

Back to the bench in no time I am sure. My problems seem trivial compared to yours.
Cheers and a speedy recovery mate

I haven't built a target, oops, sorry, ship since the Ark Royal about 35 years ago, it was about 10 inches long from memory so I don't know the scale. Lately I've been looking at some of the kits in the LHS and seriously considering doing my first serious warship build, so count me in !
Cheers, Seaman Second Class D
It would have been the 1/600 Airfix moulding Reg. I built it about the same time.

One of my local online stores had the 1/350 Dragon USS Gearing on special and I couldn't resist, does having 2 ship kits count as a stash?

I get woken up every night about this time by my frozen shoulder that decides it needs feeding a couple of pain killers. Then I hang around an hour or two waiting for them to take effect then go back to bed. Should be better in a month or two..
Enjoy your wine. I have some Rasberry fizzy drink

Hello, Boyz!
Sorry for my long absense. I have my plate so full I don't know where to begin. ...and it'll stay like that for quite a while.
I would like to ask if somebody else may pick up the banner and carry it forward. I fear that I'll not be able to commit to the task of campaign leader to everybodies satisfaction(and that means myself, too) for the next 10-12 moths. Real life obligations will be taking a lot of my free time in the coming months and I would rather spend what little time is left to carry on some projects I had commited to some time before this campaign idea.
I hope your bear with me!
Cheers,
Guido
