Michael,
Have you given any thought to how you will display Bismarck once you complete her?

Hi Michael,
yes - it will get a stand made of a wooden base (the one on the Pictures already...) and a stand for the hull made of clear Acryl.
Finally - a clear cover all around....

Michael,
Nice job on the rigging so far. I noticed that you are glazing the windows. Don't forget to do the windows of the little watch stations on the bridge just to the inside of the flying bridges. The front and sides had glass in them. Beautiful ship.

I would be interested in what you are using for "rope" for your rigging

There is a problem with Ez-line, its diameter is not consistent, well it hasn't been with the three reels I have tried. I discussed this with one of the guys from WNW when I first noticed it and he agreed with me. Told me he would look into it and get back to me, but I have heard nothing.
I use invisible repair thread that I paint with a paint marker before I install it. That way I can have it any colour I want. It is also not affected by CA glue whereas I find the Ez-line shrivels up at times when you hit it with the CA glue.
Cheers
Warren

Hi @all.
thanks a lot!
@Warren: Yes that's right, there are also some difficulties. You have to take care that you stretch the ropes in an equal way... also you have to take care that you do not get glue on it where it is not necessary

But if you take care about these small difficulties then you could make the ropes very great

Beautiful! This is an amazing build and has given me a great deal of inspiration for my own build!
Also, congratulations! I suspect (quality) finished Big Bismarcks will be rare in the world as it's such an overwhelming project to see through to the end, even for an accomplished modeler.
Now if only I could get mine finished too.

Congratulations Micha on an excellent article in the November-December "Art of Modelling"magazine. A well deserved honour.
Did you get around to buying the USS Hornet in 1/200th scale?

Hi Julian,
thank you very much

I am a "little bit" proud of it

Actually I finished my 1/16 kingtiger wit hadd on parts by aber etc..... and now I am working on HK Models B17 (1/32 with all Eduard etched and resin parts + profimodeller parts).
After that....

The Hornet 1/200 is waiting already (I have it already), but I am waiting for MK.1 Design Add on parts which are delayed right now and which should come beginning of next year....
But there's the next problem..... during the next days my 1/200 Missouri is coming.... end of November Lawrence from MK1 DEsign will send me one of the first finished kits he gets so that this will arrive here maybe end of December or beginning of january..... then I will start this one ... and then the Hornet
