Must be an amazing feeling to have salvaged this object.
Great photo Daniel, can't you hijack Hector and keep him prisoner until he tells his story here?

This way he is my friend. Hector this one marking an impact of grapeshot, produced in the battle of the River Plate. I suppose.

This one is a piece of the shielding of 10 mm. Extracted of place of impact if it looks well hard more and a boarder is obvious an external cap more softly to absorb the impact.

You have been keeping us all in suspense here Daniel. Long time no updates on the Graf Spee. It has been worth the wait though,
the Graf Spee is looking excellent. Nice scratch building on the smoke-stacks, good work and great detailing.I'll get a PM off to you and Warren this weekend with some idea's I have how and where to start our MTB blog on September 1st.First off to Alkmaar tomorrow: I have fallen in love with a rather magnificent Nikon camera I have seen and I might be tempted to buy it.
More work going on on the big "B", don't think I'll finish her in time though
Cheers,
Julian

P.S. Bill Gorm will be contacting you about the Admiral Graf Spee as well.

Hello friend Julian!!! Thank you for the comments of the Graf Spee!! The colleague Bill Gorm already was contacted. I sent the material that was necessary and some bonus ..

The day "D" this fence!!! The final account start!!!
I will be attentive to your MP. Waiting for instructions chief!!! I am not experienced at this. I follow the steps with my poor English . It if in the channel everything uses!!!
I am anxious!! I am promoting this in Facebook!!

Well friend Julian wins you of hand!! I buy a Nikon P510 for this event. It is really magnificent but the very fat manual!! See running for yours Nikon!!

The works in the Spee are very slow and difficult ... my neurons burning!!

Yesterday the electrical parts came for replace in my Schnellboot. Tomorrow I begin the refill of the burnt parts!!

Hi Daniel.
Coming along very well! As usual your work is amazing.
I have a Trumpeter 1/350 Graf Spee in the stash ready to go after the Hood and I was thinking I could build it alongside yours until the dreaded MTB trio build starts..
Keep at it mate.
Cheers

Well, I bought the Nikon Coolshot 520,and am already madly in love with it and its possibilities. You were right about the manual though, 244 pages .
I have also bought a rather thick and heavy book on digital photography and am trying to puzzle out F-stops, appertures, shutter speeds etc. You might be seeing some rather puzzling photos in the next few weeks
My 1/35th Bronco Seehund arrived from Shanghai this morning too,so I have been looking at your excellent build Daniel and looking for reference material. I love the Whale-shark cammo so I think I will go for that.
Cheers,
Julian

Really great coincidence!!! Yes the P520 is the same machine the only difference I believe it is that the screen is opened as book and tour and in the P510 only it rises or goes down.!!! I am extracting with the sector in P the rest of the functions do not have idea. Julian the photos betray you where you walk it has built-in GPS and with the special memory you extract images in full hd in 3D
When you decipher since it is done. Call me and explains!!!

You are going to enjoy very much with the Bronco "Seehund"..... Many box for little plastic!!! But it is easy to arm. It has great thing that can add or modify him.... There is no very much material concentrated on them ... but a bit here and other one there. You will assemble something good. To the orders quite so that I have!! I am glad for your purchase!!! Now it sees to the garden to continuing extracting photos to your roses jajajjaja

And with the zoom of 42 .... to the neighbor...

Why do you think I bought a 42 zoom
The GPS can be turned off luckily so Mrs. Gremlin56 cannot see where I have been

Be careful with the macro function Mr Sallows as it can show up unwanted glitches in your build...

Hi Warren, certainly does. Going macro on a build can make your toes curl when you see what you have really done. Luckily on normal viewing things tend to get less disturbing and when you have my eyesight everything gets warm and fuzzy
