Hello friends.
As the title says it the guest of honor is the mythical Admiral Graf Spee .
All know the one that was the more modern and sophisticated battleship of the Alemaña Nazi in 1939 end his days under the waters of the "River Plate" to few meters of the coast of Montevideo.
Until a few years ago it was possible to see the mast going out from the water to simple sight.
For years an written many books on the been afraid Graf Spee, without count the innumerable quantity articles to few survivors who remained to living in my country. Of child I remember a veteran, weak spot, high and blue eyes whom we knew as " The German " jejej some years after his death I knew that he was one of the gunners of the tower "Athon" of the Spee … … incredibly ¡
Also an generated concerning the pocket battleship a dense network of histories, legends, networks of espyes, ghosts, submarines, you scheme cruxes etc etc that would give to do many movies.
It does little the Spee recover protagonism on the Eagle of stern having been rescued being the only survivor in the world, even projects re-arose of re the nose floated and made roofed meg museum… … .. but lamentably as everything in these latitudes the triple one of time takes that in other sides.
Of to few will sharing someone of these histories, photos etc etc while we accompany the construction of this project.
All are invited, spend and take seat............

Daniel,

After seeing your STUNNING Type XXI, I can't wait to see you take on the mighty Graf Spee (and in big 1/200 scale too)!

Best of luck with him,

Tim

These photos I haven't seen Daniel. Really heavy duty polystyrene you are using here. Necessary due to weight etc. of a 1/200 build I guess.......
Keep the photos coming

Hi Daniel, nice to see you back from a few days holiday
Hope you didn't get overworked on the beach
The Spee looks very good, very prominent torpedo bulges it would appear. Still a very difficult job though, beyond my capabilities
Cheers,
Julian

Hi Daniel.

Lovely work my friend. Looks like a sensible method, all you would need are the correct size plans, and of course lots of expertise which I have not got!!

I am with you Julian and will stick with the moulded stuff for the moment.

Cheers
