I am off to London for a week to see what I can find to bring back home. Along with everyone else, the new Airfix Typhoon looks tasty. Anyway it will be easier to slip past the gatekeeper than a 1/200 Missouri.

cheers
Michael

Excellent work Michael, well done!

I take it to mean that gatekeeper does not mean NZ's border control?

Michael,

Your Dreadnaught is a beauty! She has never been a vessel on my "must build" list, but your build has made me look towards her with new interest. If only there were more time...

Anyway, you did a fine job with her!

Thanks Tim. I didn't think I would build ships at all, but building this has opened a whole new world away from planes. As much as anything it was the period and the quirky nature of their layouts. I have read a lot about dreadnoughts and battlecruisers now and would certainly build another.
Cheers

Excellent Build Michael, have fun in London. I have my Typhoon pre-ordered from Axel's Modelshop in Germany. June release they are promising and I am looking forward to this model.
Don't forget to post photos of this build when you have added the nets. I am curious to see how that looks.

You and me both Julian.
I have been experimenting with options but they don't look right. Trying to get the scale is difficult. Maybe one of those photo etch companies could produce sheets of mesh.

Great job Michael,

First class build, excellent clean finishing. Captures the spirit of the old girl.
