I'll be following this build, intensely.

What an intriguing history to this boat. It's whereabouts unknown for 2 months before it's final surrender. No ship's log, deck gun or id for the crew.

What was she doing out there all that time?

Jejej there is presumed that it was forming a part of a convoy of bariums U - boot.

Beautifull work on the limber holes Daniel,immaculate drilling, filing and sanding. Jan asked what I was thinking: at this level of detail I take it you will be adding some form of inner structure?
