It's magnificent although I think mrs. Moscatelli is less enthousiastic with all the dust from your sanding floating around "Casa Moscatelli"
Simon was correct, this is a masterclass

Fantastico Daniel. I have this in my stash so I will be watching your work and taking notes. Great job opening up the deck slats. Can you please elaborate the method you used for the oil canning?

Thank you friend. My method is rudimentary and tedious ..... carving one for one carefully of not erasing the clinches. I use a scalpel with blade # 10

Cheers Daniel

I was afraid of that method and was hoping for something easier. Great job Sir.

Julian .... the U-530 was an IXC/40. In this magnificent drawing Works of a good friend "Gabriel Barbu" 3D for Silent Hunt. You can see the differences between they. This clipping was done to minimize it against wave produced by the prow. In the first IX they are seen it breaks waves on cover for this effect. Also it diminished the time of dip and increase his speed cruise in surface .... etc etc

And historic...

Now that's really nice. You are really transforming this kitset into a work of art already Daniel.

I put it on my *I want* list but with 2 PT boats half done, A Type VII stalled and looking inadequate against your work... I must learn that technique of tanking. Plus a hangar full of WWI stringbags half completed I must be strong.... Oh and that Airfix Tiffie tugging at me too.
