Thank you Jou and Julian ...... I take a time in initiating the blog jejej but this project I take a lot of planning and study of the parts to modifying. Added to it I take a brake to do a diorama with water in a U-boot VII-C . Shortly I will share this also, only I am waiting for the figures to finish it.
Regards Daniel

Always had an interest in U-Boats, especially the Operation Drumbeat boats, but have not built anything nautical in probably 30 years. I figure the 1/72 releases are large enough that any weathering that I attempt won't look too ham-fisted...anything smaller would require a subtlety that I have not achieved yet. It is all slowly coming back to me as I work on my various armor projects, though.
I am always impressed by the work you have done. Your Type XXI was stellar, and can not wait to see what you do with the Type IX.
Got the Type VII and Type IX for pretty decent prices (although I hate I missed the late Type VII release) I just wish Revell had released an early Type IXC...I would have liked to build the U-166.

Daniel, I have a way that you could get two models out of this one kit. Using just the front half of the model you could duplicate this famous photo of U-505.

Then you could do a second diorama using just the stern. You have it sticking straight up out of the water, representing a sub about to take her 'final dive'!

Seriously, love what you've done so far and can't wait to see the finished boat.
