Thanks Kev, Dave, Keith,
Thanks for your support and kind words during this build.
I have to say The WEM kit is great, and needs very little in the way of additional work, and captures the graceful power of the class.
Just hope "Mad" Pete Hall's Atlantic Models will re-release this baby, because I quite happily build another one in a different fit and colour scheme.

Thanks Russell,
Great little kit, fun to build.
Not sure what is next, got a couple of campaign builds under way at the moment, but watch this space.
Cheers

Wow, been absent for a while and missed your final commissioning.
But what is there left to say than to second all comments above - a really heart build, very clean and excellent attention to detail. Too sad WEM closed their doors....apparently I missed out on those...
Great job, Si, I like it very much

Thanks Jan,
It is a great little kit that just needs a little love. I have really enjoyed the journey of the build.
The loss of WEM is going to leave a hole, I hope Pete Hall will keep some of it going via Atlantic Models, I am short of some etch, particularly for RN vessels, that only WEM did, still we shall see.

Hi Simon I have read on another site that Pete Hall is doing some generic RN stuff railings doors and ladders he is supposed to be getting an updated WEB site up in the new year so we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best to come out of the sad new about WEM
All the best wishes to you and your family and happy modelling for the new year.

Hi Keith,
Had heard similar, also that Pete will be adding to his range of cold war era RN ships. It is a case of wait & see, but I am hopeful.
Wishing you and your family a merry Christmas & a happy new year.
Heres to another good year of maritime modelling in '15.

Hi Si/Keith!
Such a sad loss of WEM, but it looks like Pete may pick up some of their kit.
You can check out his face book page here to see what he's up to and his website here, although the website is still under construction.
Wish you both a merry Christmas and a happy new year! May there be styrene under your trees!

Hi Russ,
I hopeful with what Mad Pete is up to, really looking forward to the Leander class Frigates, and nice to see some etch for the old frog kits, they were all unique.
Lets look forward to '15 and a great year's shipbuilding.
Happy Christmas and may Santa be generous to you & yours.
