Thomas,
Very nice job with that mast. Nice paint work, it reminds of desert color the British would have used in North Africa. I seen barley grey paint on-line but was sure how it would look after spraying, now I know.

Thomas this build looks excellent, really like the detailed PE and use of washes.

Thomas the mast looks superb. Any concerns you had about the railings has disappeared under the paint.
Wise move attaching it to the ship. There's always that "danger" after construction, up until mounting it onto the ship where handling for painting and storage could result in disaster of epic proportions!
She's looking mighty fine!

Started the bridge compartment during last week. As the floors needed to be painted in this blue color and all sidewalls in barley grey you need to build this one in single sections. I started the bridge therefore that it can be dismantled in three parts for a better painting of the floors. I drilled out the portholes again and attached the PE parts which dont disturb during the floor painting later; all the railings will come at the very end. These are the picture of the finished work before painting:

Now on for the painting

Thomas,
I apologize once again for not commenting more regularly, real life is taking its toll and I am spending much less time with my hobby and here with all your fine work on MSW.
What everybody said - you are doing a splendid job!!! Many of the tasks you accomplished here remained of my Hood - the lengthy ladders up the masts, railing on small and difficult shaped platforms...well my friend, you are doing a great job, hats off to you!!
Cheers,

@Gaz, Mark, Russel, Mark and Jan - thank you very much for your positive feedback
I continued painting the bridge floor and installing the railings after it - pictures following shortly.
The bridge´s uppermost rangefinder was also improved with some very fragile PE-parts and will be painted after these pictures:
