USS New York was the lead ship of her class. Named for New York State, she was designed as the first ship to carry the 14 inch/45 caliber (356 mm) gun. She served in both World Wars.
Announced for a Septmeber release, the kit listed as No. 05339. By the provided image, it looks like the kit will be of her Second World War service.
As of yet, no pricing information is available. More information will be listed as it becomes available.
I'll be looking forward to seeing more of this kit for the possibility building her as the USS Texas (BB-35).
