USS New York was the lead ship of her class. Named for New York State, she was designed as the first ship to carry the 14 inch/45 caliber (356 mm) gun. She served in both World Wars.
Announced for a Septmeber release, the kit listed as No. 05339. By the provided image, it looks like the kit will be of her Second World War service.

As of yet, no pricing information is available. More information will be listed as it becomes available.

I'll be looking forward to seeing more of this kit for the possibility building her as the USS Texas (BB-35).

Exciting news! Hope they shrink the New York and her sister down to 1/700 scale, too.

The box art of the New York looks like it could be around 1944.

Thanks for the update, Greg! I saw at their main site they has a 'coming soon' listing for a Trumpeter 1/350 USS Texas. But the Trumpeter site does not list it yet. I think I'll wait a bit and see if anything comes from Trumpeter about the Texas.

Dunno, no radar, and no camo paint, could be pre-war era from the box art. I'm waiting (under-patiently) to release info on Texas.

Erm, I think you might want to look again. There is both radar and dazzle camouflage (Ms 31a 8B) on the box art.
