Estimated for a January 2015 release, this will be the third release for Trumpeter in this class after the Maryland and West Virginia. The Colorado was the lead ship of the Colorado class of battleships.
Her keel was laid down on May 29, 1919. She operated in the vicinity of the Fiji Islands and New Hebrides from November 1942 to September 1943 to prevent further Japanese expansion. She provided pre-invasion bombardment and fire support for the invasion of Tarawa in 1943 and also saw extensive action in the Leyte Gulf, Mariana Islands and Okinawa and was preparing for the invasion of Japan as the war ended.

This kit (No 5768) consists of over 610 parts including two OS2U aircraft, display stand and photo-etched parts. It's currently planned to be listed for $52.95 (US).
