I have to agree somewhat with Tomaz. While ANY cruiser, other than the Prinz Eugen, in any scale is more than welcome, I would think that 1/700 Japanese cruisers are pretty well taken care of. This is just my very biased, very personal opinion, I'd think that more US, British, Dutch, French cruisers, in 1/700, or even more German light cruisers, or ANY cruiser in 1/350 would sell more since there isn't any competition.

I too agree, gents, but like you just said Rodge. . . More than welcome. . . ~Gunny

In my opinin these are some of the most beautiful cruisers ever built. They are akin to the Takeao class without the massive bridge. That having been said, these kits are not exacty new, they are improved. I built both of these kits back in the 70's. It seems lately that tons of 700 scale ships are coming out with huge prices. The companies do a little retooling and throw in a few PE parts and viola a new release. Of course other than a divergence or 2 into some of the 72nd stuff , I build 350 but I won't beat the dead horse here too much....we are getting like the crowd that howled after every release by Dragon, Tamiya , and occasionally Trumpeter of "where is the US halftrack?" Glad to see Rodger is back among us again

Soon to be followed by 1/350 ??????

Well, mate, if you're wishing for these subjects specifically in 1/350, honestly, haven't heard anybody with these in the planning stage, BUT, there is more in 1/350 soon to start hitting the shelves. . . ~Gunny
