Vessel History

"The USS Philippine Sea (CG-58) is a Flight II Ticonderoga class guided missile cruiser. The name commemorates the WWII Battle of the Philippine Sea in June 1944, in which more than 400 Japanese planes and three Japanese aircraft carriers were destroyed. The USS Philippine Sea was launched in March 1989 and its first deployment was in the Mediterranean and Red Seas in 1990 during the Gulf War. In fact it was the first vessel to fire missiles during this conflict with Iraq. The USS Philippine Sea again saw action in October 2001 when it launched Tomahawk missiles against al Qaeda terrorist training camps in Afghanistan at the commencement of Operation Enduring Freedom."

I think the vast majority of us will agree that DML is the premier AFV producer in 35th scale. It is nice to see that they are giving the same attention to their other sections as well. If not in quantity but in high quality and reasonable pricing.
