Stephens International just added Trumpeter's 1/350 scale German Heavy Cruiser Blucher to their July 2016 offerings.
The Blucher was the second of the five Admiral Hipper-class cruisers of the Kriegsmarine. Completed in 1939 just after the outbreak of WWII, the Blucher was the lead ship that seized Oslo in April 1940, but was sunk the next day by two torpedoes in the Battle of Drobak Sound.

Kit consists of over 420 parts, including two-piece hull, display stand, and photo-etched parts.

MSRP - $124.95
Model # 5346

I've always been amazed how underrepresented the RN has been in the world of styrene.

Great to see this but I would also love to see some RN Cruisers in styrene.

Nice, but some Royal and Commonwealth Navy Cruisers would be more welcomed. Oh and an Italian or even French Cruiser while you're at it, please.

This kit is welcome but how about a 1941 version of the Prinz Eugen? Minor changes on an existing kit and voila they could get another $150 form us. A new Admiral Scheer or Lutzow or County class cruiser would be welcome also.

I'd certainly be up for a Admiral Scheer in her Dazzle scheme. It's about time that my lonely Graf Spee had a sister to play with! About Blucher - did Trumpeter do different hulls for their Hipper & Eugen kits? I think they did. Be interesting to see if they do the Blucher hull correctly.

Hey, guys, it's all well to decry what they DIDN'T release, but what about what they DID? This looks pretty cool to my inexperienced eyes.
