First of its kind in plastic kit form! The Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) is a high-speed, over-the-beach fully amphibious landing craft capable of carrying a 60-75 ton payload.
Capable of operating from ship decks, it is used to transport weapons systems, equipment, cargo and personnel from ship to shore and across the beach. The advantages of air-cushion landing craft
are numerous. They can carry heavy payloads, such as an M-1 tank, at high speeds. Their payload and speed mean more forces reach the shore in a shorter time, with shorter intervals between trips.

Kit consists of 238 parts on 6 sprues, plus photo etched nets and sweeper. Completed kit measures over 7” long.

USS Theodore Roosevelt is the fourth ship in the Nimitz class of nuclear powered aircraft carriers.
Launched in 1984 and commissioned in 1986, this carrier already participated in several wars and operations: The Gulf War in 1991, Operation Allied Force in 1999, Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001/2002 and Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.

Kit consists of 714 parts on
34 sprues, a photo etched mast and markings for CVN-71 2006. Included is an assortment of F14B/D, E2C, EA-6B, S-3B &
SH-60B aircraft. Completed kit measures over 18” long.

Both of these kits are scheduled for an August '07 release.
