Trumpeter models of China has announced the November 2017 release of kit TRP6713, the British aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal (1939) in 1/700 scale.

It isn’t clear whether this is a new tooling or a re-release of Aoshima’s recent Ark Royal, but it appears to be unrelated. If it bears any resemblance to the larger 1/350 scale Merit (i.e., Trumpeter) Ark, it should be a great kit!
