Building upon its ever expanding range of model ships Trumpeter has announced the upcoming release of the 1/700 HMS Eskimo (F75) British Tribal Class Destroyer 1941. The anticipated release date for this kit is January 2009 and the suggested retail price at this stage is $US22.95

This is a brand new model of the HMS Eskimo. A Tribal calls destroyer launched in 1938 she participated in the Second Battle of Narvik, the Allied landings in North Africa and the Far East campaign. The HMS Eskimo also attacked and sank U-971 in the English Channel in 1944. The kit will consist of 92 parts on 5 sprues.
