Trumpeter have just sent us images of one of their next 1/350th scale warship releases.

04531 - Admiral Chabanenko is a 1/350th scale model of the Russian Destroyer.

The Chabanenko Class are rated as BPKs (Bol'shoy Protivolodochnyy Korbal') - large anti-submarine ships. Roughly equivalent to the U.S. SPRUANCE Class (DD-963 ), this ship carries Silex (SS-N-14) missiles, one twin 130-mm/70 caliber mount, two CADS-1 gun/missile close-in weapons systems (CIWS), AA protection is provided by four, four-round vertical launchers for the SA-N-9 surface-to-air missiles (SAM). In addition, the ships' torpedo tubes can fire torpedoes or ASW missiles.
