The latest update in from Mr. Harry Abbott, the owner/operator of Battlefleet Models, who has already started 2009 strongly with announcements of up and coming releases, has followed through with an update on their latest 1/700th resin Waterline product.

Battlefleet Modelshas now announced that the 1/700 SS Wentworth will be ready on the 17th of April 2009 at a price of US$70.00.

Ship History
The SS Wentworth was in the Drumgeith Class of Tramp Steamer, however with a different deck configuration.

She was sunk while on convoy duty with Convoy ONS-5 on the 5th of May, 1943 by U-358.

Congratulations Harry - looks like another winner!! Can't wait to get mine! Great to see the issue of these WW1 'standard ship' designs - they lend themselves to all sorts of conversions with any number of variants. As they populated the world's fleets between the wars, expect to see my 'Wentworth' emerge as a 'Maru' sometime in the future. Well done! Jim S

I just my DRUMGEITH yesterday, and I would have thought that WENTWORTH will be the same very high quality, and the istructions are getting better as well. Mr Harry you spoil us! Peter F
