The team at Trumpeter have also announced the released of their 1/350th USS Hopper DDG-70 .

It is ceratainly a great time to be a ship modeller.

This kitset is to contain 483 parts on 11 sprues plus the upper hull, lower hull, waterline plate, & main deck. The expected release date and the suggested retail price at this stage are not known.

Check out the superbly dramatic box art for this kitset created by the very talented Mr. Mike Donegan. If this image is anything to go by the kitset will be a stunner.
