No apologies necessary. We know you just report the news, Just was hoping for a Forrest Sherman class, not another version of the Arleigh Burke class. The Arleigh Burke class seems to be the nautical version of the Tiger tank. A kit for everyone built. (as I ever so slowly plug along on my USS England)

Perhaps it's a sign of the economy: it's less expensive to just update the decal and instruction sheets and make new box art than to produce an entirely new kit. I wonder if we'll see a slow down in new molds in 2010 compared to what we've had this year? --Karl

I would imagine as buying goes down, if it goes down due to other things taking priority over kit buying, the effects could be less new releases, and more rehashes, and re-issues. It doesn't cost as much to clean up old molds, as make new ones. But would still love to see a Forrest Sherman class: USS Forrest Sherman DD 931 USS Hull DD 945 and a cool conversion: USS Hull DD 945 firing her new 8 inch forward gun.
