Now that certainly is an interesting looking ship.

Yes that is an interesting looking ship. Nice of Bronco to include so much P.E. with it. I wonder how long it will be for the P.E. companies to improve on what is provided.

Interesting release - they are instock at asian dealers, so you can get yours now. Wonder if they will expand to other nations ships of this era ? Cheers/Jan

An excellent subject for pre-dreds. In a similar vein, China's coastal cruisers from the 1930's were interesting designs as well. --Karl

Probably LuckyModel will have it at a much lower price than other dealers; then tend to sell Bronco and HobbyBoss products almost half price of other online dealers (USA-persective).

I just got an email from Lucky Model and they are listing this as "available." That seems to be a euphemism for "it's available for you to order but it's not in stock yet." I was really amazed by the price, $29.98 plus shipping. Granted it's probably fairly small, smaller than a WWII cruiser, but $29.98 for a 1/350 capital ship, what a steal. http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=BRO%20NB5016 I'm still not sure I will be getting it anytime soon, but at that price it's a lot more attractive than I thought it was going to be.

This is such an unusual looking vessel it automatically falls into the "must have" category. $ 30 dollars? well, by the time it gets to Europe it will probably have doubled in price and changed to Euro's Julian

I saw the add in LuckyModels.. my only concern was that the description did not include the mass of PE shown in the ad "glossy" announcement (which does not include the kit #). And yes, "Available" can mean several months of waiting, as I have experienced in the past with LM. On the other hand, you cannot beat their prices for the "domestic" brands, such as bronco, hobbyboss, trumpeter.

I made the Kitech version of this ship last year. This one by Bronco looks to be way ahead in detail and accuracy. I might have saved a lot of time correcting errors and omissions, but it was still a fun build and a real show-stopper of a subject. I also bought the 1/250 Chen Yuen cruiser by Kitech, and even though it also needs a lot of work, it's still a fascinating subject. I hope to see more of this era's ships in the future.
