As is often the case the Internet has been rife with speculation about the next possible pre Dreadnought release from the good folks at Bronco Models.

We can now exclusively announce that the design and development team at Bronco Models are in the advanced stages of releasing their 1/350th Imperial Chinese Beiyang Fleet Ironclad Battleship ‘Chen Yuen’.

If the released image is any indication this kitset looks superb and if you are like me a real fan of the ships from this era this will be no doubt be another one of the “must haves” of 2010.

Oh boy the year 2010 is certainly shaping up to be a great one for the modelshipwright.

The hot news is that this kitsets expected release date has been advised as May 2010 however the suggested retail price has yet to be confirmed.
