Trumpeter has sent along word through their US distributor, Stevens Hobby, of some up coming releases.
1/350 HMS Queen Elizabeth British Battleship, 1941 NEW TOOL! SRP $114.95
HMS Queen Elizabeth was in Portsmouth dockyard undergoing a major refit when war began in 1940. After a month, she joined the Home Fleet and, in May 1941, was deployed to the Mediterranean. The ship was badly damaged on December 19th at Alexandria Harbor and was sent to Norfolk, Virginia for repairs until June 1943. After many operations in the Far East, she returned home in August 1945 and was placed in reserve. The Queen Elizabeth was taken apart for scrap in May 1948. Kit consists of over 600 parts including photo-etched parts, two Mark-1 aircraft, stand and name plate. Completed kit measures over 22” long!
1/350 USS Freedom LCS-1 Littoral
Combat Ship NEW TOOL! SRP $52.95
USS Freedom is the lead ship of the Freedom class of littoral combat ships (LCS). She is designed for a variety of missions in shallow waters, capable against submarines and ships, as well as minesweeping and humanitarian relief. The ship is a semi-planing, mono-hull design capable of over 40 knots. Kit consists of over 530 parts on 8 sprues plus hull, plus two MH-60 helicopters and photo-etched handrails and deck details. Completed kit measures 13” long.
