Thanks for the feedback Mark.

Well I battled repairing the damage and decided to place a tarpaulin over the damage - plus adds a little life/colour.

The idea is that the heavy wet tarpaulin from the gun has been folded and placed there.

Never done a flag before so here is my practice efforts before I attack Joes kindly donated flags.

I used stretched sprue for the rigging and white glue and water to stiffen the flag up.

Hello Sean, Shouldn't that flag have a swastika in the center, not a Maltese cross? I know the white WW1 German ensign had the cross, but I think that was all changed when the Nazis came to power. Al

Undaunted by new challenges I am trying stretched sprue method for my rigging.

Here is my first trial attempt/s.

Well after a very very looooooong time away from the modelling bench there has been a flurry of activity. To be honest mainly blowing a lot of dust away!

Here are my painted ladders and some stretched sprue as rigging:

Ahoy Sean!

Glad to see you're back in the shipyard!
I see she is coming along just fine.
I finally finished mine, have yet to
post some photos and yes those stanchions
are a real challenge.
Looking forward to seeing more progress.
Have a great one and
Happy modeling!
Cheers,
Joe

Ahoy Shipmates

After yet another extended modelling hiatus I have this E-Boat back on the workbench.

To be honest my building mojo has slipped but not my interest. Unexplainable really.

Here is what I got as a storage solution:

Storage solution? Forget the mojo and just get stuck in and finish it.....
