Ahoy Shipmates

We recently had the Military Small Craft Group Build which I was signed up for with an E-Boat but I just did not complete it or get the desired progress.

You may recall that I was building an Airfix E-Boat 1/72nd scale stock and out of the box. I do have one in reserve to do a full detail etc on.

However I think this was approximately where I was last time that you saw it:

Well hurrah I have now broken my modellers block and done some work on my E-Boat so watch this space.

Cheers

Thanks very much Garth much appreciated.

Got the old paintbrushes out and undercoated the propellers.

I am not happy with the colour at all and will use it as an undercoat.

Thanks Garth.

Mate you know heaps about S-Boats (E-Boats)and it was your most informative book which helped me break my long term "modellers block".

I think with some more work the propellers will look better.

I will wait until I break out the brass coloured paint later down the detailing track.

You may recall these images and this was where I was whilst suffering from "modellers block".

She was sitting rather lonely in the drydock patiently awaiting paint:

Thanks Kenny & James for looking in and providing some great feedback.

The rear gun deck sight was solid so I hollowed it out hope you can make it out.

I tried to make the centre hole larger and to insert a sight however the plastic (which is pretty soft and crappy) broke therefore I just left it alone.

However a mate of mine may have machine gun set in PE for me to use which maybe great.

Well here are some images of her ready for paint just before I started the old compressor up.

Confession time my spray gun was attached to its holder by cobwebs I hang my head in shame.

Hi Jan thanks for the words of encouragement.

Here are some images of all the other parts with some paint on them:

However a very long way to go yet.
