Looking good mate, as for knocking it on the floor, don't tempt fate I knocked the PE mast off my KGV last night (still not found all the bits)

That mast looks great Si 
FWIW, I have trouble with blu tac sticking to parts as well and try to avoid it where possible...
As for knocking things off and onto the floor-well the less said the better

Small update from yesterday,
The mainmast.
As promised, the Pontos method of attaching yard arms.
The brass and etch for fitting the single yard arm.
The etch folded ready for fitting.
Fitted to the yard arm.
And to the mast.
Simple as that.

Very quick update.
The cranes, the etched kit booms are required by Pontos, and I managed to mislay them, so I used the wem boos instead.
In the process of being folded.
and fitted.
They are a bit narrow for the Pontos cabs, but they will suffice.

an often overlooked part of many PE sets is the crane cabs-good to see they've got it covered here, Si. Very nice.

Pontos do a very good job with those Russ, the turned brass centre column really helps. both in structure and detail.

Bit more progress.
Cranes rigged, the pontos rigging came of the frets a while back, so a bit copper wire.
Fitted.
All the booms & derricks painted.
and fitted.
More work on the 20 mm, picked up some spares at Telford, as I have mislaid the pontos parts.
More soon.

I am quite pleased with them, considering the booms and cabs were from different manufacturers, and the rigging home made.

You could be right Russ
I have to admit I had lost the love for this project a bit, but chatting to a mate of mine from IPMS Barnet at the Telford show re-inspired me. That and the purchase of an optivisor so I can see the bits of the single 20mm.

Hats off to you for finishing those 20mm guns. They are a lot of work to assemble and to get those shield straight. They will look sweet when mounted to the decks.
