I was playing with paint and the interior lights today. I wish that I had used more color inside but too late for that now.

 Oh well live and learn.

Thanks I appreciate your kind words.. I just could have used more color I think and then maybe it would have made a mess too. I tend to worry things to death.. And yes it is the Mobius kit

Hi Kelly!
Fantastic work!

Don't worry about the lighting being too subdued, it should look just right after the exterior coat is applied and if you are mounting the sub in a diorama.

 Brava!

Hello
Picture of the new guards for the rear . The kit 1's were horrible . New 1's were made with brass rod for the outer frame & alumminium tube for the inner struts.

I'm now remodelling the conning tower as the 1 in the film doesn't have any guns mounted or any rails at the front.

Looking very good Bruce. With you doing a PT, I'm sure T. Garth Connelly will be checking in.

Hello all,
I am in need of a U-Boat for my collection and was thinking about making the U-571 from the movie U-571. Hobbyboss's U-boat Type VIIC kit should fit the bill.
Oddly enough the actual U-571 was a IXB class U-boat but in the movie it was a VIIC, so VIIC it is.

hey bruce! look in the "FSM PT boat" thread, some good waterline maps/info were posted to help mask/paint the PT boat. The Revell instructions are WRONG in that regard, as I found out! Luckily I had not laid out any paint yet...
