Si,
Nice collection you have there. I am sure that you will enjoy the Infini upgrade set for the Kagero.
For my recent purchase I acquired the Lifecolors IJN set. The hull red is a little suspect though as I think it is a little too bright red. Guess Ill find out soon enough.

The Yokosuka Grey was needed for the Shokaku build, should be ready to apply some color in the next month, guess we will see how they work out then.

Thanks Dave, will do my best.
Nice paint set, see what you mean about the red, Like the coverage and the ease of use through the old windy stick of life colour paints

Picked up some goodies at Southern Expo.

I am intrigued by the Danton, looks very good kit, and a more than adequate supply etch. She may be getting a very quick trip to the bench.

Having followed the Danton build the idea of OOB with no extras or resin should get me back in to boat building. So ordered and delivered in just 5 days from Hannants, this arrived.

I think I will start straight away.
cheers
Michael

Several items have washed up into my stash lately. First was a pretty good deal on Ebay. This was Trumpeters HMS Hood which included Eduard PE and the Trumpeter Hood detail set. I have ordered the Flyhawk Turret set which is on its way from Asia.
Secondly was the below. Tamiya's IJN Musashi and Dragons CVL Independance. I could not believe the deal I got for this. Saw them for sale on Facebook and paid.....$40 total for both kits.

Cant wait to get cracking on these though I am forcing myself to finish off at least %50 of my current projects before I start!

My OCD self is in full swing in regards to that. Already looked at some of the build ups on here as well as the excellent build review by Stefan Halter!

My additions to the old stash from ScaleModelworld at Telford. Great traders, in, as they say, no particular order:- White Ensign / Tom's Modelworks / Atlantic Models, L'Arsenal, Sovereign Hobbies, starling Models, Pontos, Master and all the traders selling Ships.

Could have spent a lot more, lots of good stuff.
Might be some new build logs starting soon!

Very envious even though I have said I have to stop buying models. I would love to get to Telford some year, they don't have anything like it in NZ.
I like the little minesweeper, I haven't seen one of those before.
cheers
Michael

Nice acquisitions Si!
Looking forward to seeing the build logs on those two
Unfortunately I'm with Michael's team and have sworn off buying any more kits until I substantially reduce the stash-so instead I'll live vicariously

Thanks Russ,
Those two may be a little way down the list, but two empty building docks, so something will be kicking off shortly.
I should stop buying, but I think I will be thinning out the aircraft and armour under the stand at some shows in the new year,
cheers
Si
