Bruce: Take care of yourself and don't worry about us, we'll be fine! I hope you get a chance to check in every once in awhile to see the builds.
OK, here's my plan for the campaign:

Gonna be boring and do the 109 (I've always wanted to) mostly out of the box. I will have some Echelon decals for the numbers and, of course, a 48 star flag. I may make some small mods to be more accurate, like leaving off the mast and using sheet plastic to make the windscreen into armor as that's what most photos seem to show. Should be fun, a big green boat!
What does everyone else have planned?
Michael

Well, some progress so far:

I used a basic Krylon dark red under the hull and Tamiya's XF-67/TS-61 NATO green for the overall color. I've attached a few basic items to the deck and the deck to the hull for the spray painting, will probably airbrush the rest. I also painted the inside of the hull and superstructure parts black as there's nothing to see through the ports.
I know there are a lot of builds/comments going around on this kit including that the raised area around the entire deck shouldn't be there and the deck should have a slight bow at the stern. All true, no doubt, but I'm sticking with the kit for the most part. More power to those who want to fix that stuff!
Anyone else getting started out there?
Michael

I hope to do a Revell 1/72 Schnellboot, if that fits the rules.

OK, here's the progress on the 109:

Nothing is glued down yet, just placed to see how it all fits.
Looking carefully, especially at the overhead shot, you'll see some mismatch with the green. I painted everything with Tamiya's NATO green in a rattle can first, then touched up with an airbrush using the bottled variety. I have a couple of ideas how to fix it, mostly a light overspray with the airbrush to blend it all in. Might open up some interesting weathering possibilities, however...
The sharp-eyed will notice the rudder missing. In fact I've broken off both outboard rudders. One I have safely in the box, the other has disappeared into the black hole. I could swipe one from my 596 kit, but that just postpones the problem. Still, these missing parts do tend to reappear (mostly when you're looking for something else) and since I don't plan to build the 596 anytime soon, that's probably what I'll do. Not worried about it for now, still a way to go on this kit before I have to replace the rudders!
Anyone else getting anything done? Kinda quiet around here...
Michael

Have not done a kit in white plastic before this is the Revell 1/72 Classic kit of PT167 so the paint job will be a challange nice work on the 109 so far.

Good to see you getting going Keith!
I've gone over the kit with a light overspray of the bottled Tamiya NATO green. It toned down the contrast but still looks faded in spots. I kind of like the way it breaks up the monotone green. What do you all think?

Looks fine to me, but would the crew have been allowed to let it get that weathered??

I will be starting my 1/35 Vosper very soon. I got the Griffon Model PE set for it and it is an awesome buy for the price. Everything ou need to produce a nice model.
Cheers
Warren

Warren,
Looking forward to your build, that Griffon set looks amazing! As for the weathering, these boats were ridden hard and hung up wet in the Solomons, I think they got plenty weathered. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Howdy Y'all

I dug out this ancient kit for the Osprey Duel Campaign and built the E-Boats and a MTB for the campaign. I would like to use one of the PT boats for this campaign. The other PT boat and MTB have big sink holes in the decks.
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

Now for the masking removal all that time to put them on and just a little bit at a time to take it back off will need to do a few touch ins and the small parts will hand paint the remaining stripes

Nothing in the rules say you can't have more than one entry in a campaign. I had 13 1/32 WW1 aircraft in KoTSII.

Absolutely Warren, enter as many as you want! Only one ribbon per modeller though. Really nice work so far Keith!

More work on the Raptor Camo have hand painted the torpedo tubes and some of the smaller fittings and have also painted the deck a dark grey and added a olivegreen wash to this also i have painted the bridge and upper parts of the cabin a slightly lighter grey for those of you who have the knowledge of this would the life raft / dinghy at the bow be a grey or a yellow colour

Hope to get the ship set into a water base some time over the weekend

@Michael, your "happy accident" with the paint looks like the way to go for weathering your boat. Looks great in the pictures

@Keith, great job with the striping! A friend of mine did that same scheme on his 1/35 PT. It was shown in the IPMS Journal that covered the Nats. in Orlando this year. More power to you my friend, I know I couldn't do it

 Everyone is doing great!

Hello Michael,
Does an Elbing class torpedo boat qualify for this campaign?

It says "torpedo boat", so I'd say yes!

Thanks! Michael
So this will be my entry for the torpedo boat campaign.
It is an older kit...the Heller 1:400 Torpedoboot.
This is the 1943 Elbing class T23 torpedoboot

Having looked over the parts, shouldn't be too bad of a build but I may
replace the weapons and will add PE rails.
The camo pattern should be interesting to do.
Cheers,
Joe
