Starboard side Davits on,

The Davits for the steam pinnace have had their fall fitted, unfortunately the are too short to reach the boat, when I rig them I will add a gap filler.

Cross beams fitted, and painted in.

Last four boats fitted with their oars, the narrower boats, although having a transom stern look to be rowed like whalers, hence only four oars in one bundle.

The port boats added, they just need their securing wires (tricing pennants) added.

I have learned one thing, I will add the boats on the starboard side after the falls, but before I add the rest of the Davit rigging.

Cheers.

Thanks guys,

She is very nearly done. Remaining rigging is on the boats and davits, then just a few small bits and pieces to add.

Thanks for looking in.

Cheers.

Thanks Sean,

I am a fan of the Victorian era ships, makes a change from all those shades of grey!

It is a great little kit, a real pleasure to build.

The props are painted and on.

And the masthead pennant - Finished.

A few views of the finished job.

I have enjoyed this kit a lot, the level of detail is great, the fit is excellent and the etch included is complete.

Thanks guys for all the support along the way.

Cheers.

A most excellent addition to the fleet, Si

Your stash of floaty things must be taking quite a hit of late?

So, where does one keep all these finished beauties? And does 'SHMBO' mind?

Great work on an interesting boat Simon.
As you mentioned earlier, always nice to see something different from the 20th century grey.

cheers

That is a very nice looking model Si. Very nice! It's not something you see every day, and it's colorful enough to really brighten up a display. Thanks very much for sharing this. I'll bet hobby sites and auction sites around the world are wondering why they're having an sudden interest in this kit.

Hi Russ,

Have been on a bit of a Roll of late.

Needed to make room for a couple of biggies I would like to acquire.

a few are allowed on shelves in the lounge (Generally non grey ones) the rest tend to live in their travelling boxes for when I can get to shows.

Thanks Todd,

She has been an interesting little project, and worth the effort.

Thanks Michael.

Do like to get away from grey occasionally, brightens the fleet up, and they are interesting ships to build.

Thanks Rodger,

Would be nice to think so! Might get a few more interesting subjects from the late 19th centuary.

Appreciated all the support from you guys along the way.

Cheers.

Si
