Onwards.
Anchor cables in place, at the hawse pipe end.

Fore and main top railings fitted and the tops in place, more railing origami.

Topmasts assembled.

And in place, (I managed to knock two yard arms off of the main top mast fitting, but they are safe on the base) and cables connected to the anchors.

Yard arms to fix, rigging and Davits to fit.
Nearly there!.
Cheers.

Thanks Jan.
Getting close, the rigging may take some time though, from the drawings I have it looks quite complex, and the September deadline is getting close.
Cheers.

чудесный, Si!
For rigging are you using thread, wire or stretched sprue? Do you have a preference?

Thanks Michael,
I will be rigging her with copper wire, stripped out of old electrical leads.
Thanks Todd,
The rigging is quite a job, and just over a month to the deadline for completing this for the club comp.
No pressure then.
Cheers

Thanks Todd,
Got a couple of busy weekends coming up, but I will take it steady, if I finish it on time, I finish it on time, but I do not intend to risk spoiling it.

Managed to make a very small amount of progress.
All the Yard arms back on.

The rigging started...just.

Cheers.

Looking great Simon!
You can buy fine copper wire on Evilbay. Lot easier than stripping old stuff.
Cheers

Si,
She looks great. I am always amazed at your rigging abilities. I am going to take some of the lessons I have learned and apply them to the Maya. Well that is if I could get back to building her...ahhh work

Hi Warren,
I have seen that, but as I am recycling the wire from old mains cables, it is free and very little trouble to strip out.

 Thanks Dave,
Good luck with that, will be watching your progress on that with interest.
Thanks Todd,
Getting there, the Foremast is the most complex with the majority of the signal halyards, but still quite a way to go.
Cheers for the comments guys.

Beautiful, Si!!

And what Dave said, your rigging skills are amazing! It always amazes me to see what you are doing with copper wire, somehow it doesn't work for me... Well the EZ Line offers some kind of a workaround here, but your skills are just great.
And a fine model - looking forward to see your Borodino approaching commissioning!!
Cheers

Thanks Jan,
I can understand, I tried a few materials before I found I could make copper wire work.
She is getting close, but quite a spiders web to come.
Thanks for looking in and your support.
Cheers
