Looking great S! I really like your builds! Someday I hope to be 1/4 as good.

Quick Question, what is the clay you use to put your parts on for painting?
Cheers!

Hi Mike,
Thank you very much for your very generous comment.
The stuff I use to hold parts for painting is a reusable adhesive putty, Blu tack, amongst other names, on this side of the pond.
Cheers

Thanks Russ,
To be fair the Revell boats are pretty good, more detail than the Trumpy offerings. These though have had a lot of help from the Pontos upgrades.

Very quick update
The twin 37's done.

The look a bit wonky, but that is mostly bad photography.
The remaining boats next.Parts on the sprue.

The moulded detail on the inside of the cargo boats, not bad at all.

The kit instructions for the cargo boats.

They are well done, however, most of this will not be used, as Pontos provide some very nice brass.
More soon.
Cheers

Spiffy looking boats Si, but I reckon you'll knock it out of the park once you apply the Pontos AM!

Hi Si,
the 37mm really do look good, and the boats seem a lot better designed than those Trumpf ones. Looking forward to see them with all the Pontons etch on them!

Thanks Russ,
Hope so, bit of destruction on them first, to remove some the moulded detail and replace it with finer etch, but for kit boats, they are good.

Thanks Jan,
The Veteran 37's were not as scary as I first thought, should be going under the airbrush at the weekend, will feel a lot happier when they are stuck down.
Cheers

I can't wait to see what you do with the boats. The Revell parts alone are decent, but with the Pontos parts too they will become little kits in themselves.
