Thanks Dave and Todd,
Getting there, could do with a break in the weather to get the old windy stick out and spray the bits and pieces.

Thanks Russ,
Always fun, and a learning experience.
The Z23, on the other hand, is the more conventional build of the two.

All Right Simon,
I just got caught up on these sister ships. Looking very good with some interesting scratch built details to set the record straight. I think the compromises you made at the beginning of the build were correct in order to keep the builds fun.
I especially like those Red 150mm guns, what was the rationale behind that paint job?
Did you ever get mixed up and fit pieces from one ship to the other?
Great work all around,
Bryan

Thanks Bryan,
Appreciate your comment very much.
The red turrets were for air recognition, seems the Luftwaffe had issues telling our ships from theirs, the allies (The weren't the only air force)
Didn't have any issues mixing the parts up, the Zvezda kit was moulded in a darker plastic.
Cheers

Hi Si!
Somehow I missed out on your progress here!! - once again very nice copper work, this is just great for rigging smaller and/or especially fragile masts.
Z23 is really taking shape no, nice work ob the open 15cm mounts, as well!!
Cheers,
Jan

Thanks Jan,
A little more to do yet, but if I get the time in the workshop should commission him in a couple of weeks.
Appreciate all the support along the way.
Cheers.

Si, The Z10 looks great,
What looks strange are those nervous Emojis...
Is there something we should know?
Great Work,
Bryan

Hi Bryan,
Thanks for looking in.
The emojis are just a comment on the chances of me getting much time at the bench over the next few weeks, there is a very high probability of real life getting in the way big time.
Cheers
