French Battleship Richelieu
Kit # 5311
Scale- 1/350
MSRP-$134.95 USD
"Kit consists of 326 parts on 9 sprues plus hull, deck and display stand. Markings are for Measure 32, Sept 1943. Completed kit measures nearly 28” long"
Vessel History
The battleship Richelieu entered service near the end of WWII. Distinctive features included 380mm guns and thicker armor than her predecessors.
Battleships of this class were considered to be some of the best ever built. In 1942 the Richelieu was sent to the USA for a refit to add anti-aircraft guns and new radar equipment.
These changes brought Richelieu up to date with the latest naval technology and weapons, and she went on to serve in the Atlantic through the balance of WWII.
