On the heels of Dragon’s new 1/700 USS Boxer release, Starfighter Decals announces the release of two new decal sets for this kit. Available now, 700-24 LPH-4, LPH-5 and LPH-8 1960-65 and 700-61 LPH-4, LPH-5 and LPH-8 1966-70+ pick up where the Dragon decals leave off. The 1960 – 1965 set retails for $12.50 while the 1966 – 1970 decal set retails for $10.00.

Although information about these ships is slim, Starfighter decals has done their best to faithfully reproduce these three ships. A lot of changes were made since this was a "new" class of ship and operations were modified.
The LPH-4, LPH-5 and LPH-8 1960-65 set will do any one of the 3 ships and 8 Helos.

This LPH-4, LPH-5 and LPH-8 1966-70+ set covers the 1966 to 1970+ timeframe when the deck markings were more standardized. Again, Starfighter Decals had to dome some guessing on the placement of some of the markings, and included some that might not have been used. They leave that up to the modeler and the photos or memories they have.
