Trumpeter is pleased to announce two up coming releases, 1/350 German Z-30 and the 1/350 Japanese Murasame Destroyer.
1/350 German Zerstorer Z-30 Destroyer, 1942 SRP $45.95
NEW VARIANT! The Z-30 was part of the 8th destroyer flotilla - also called the "Narvik" flotilla, until mid of 1942. After Operation Sizilien , she escorted the battlecruiser Scharnhorst during its last voyage. Since May 1944 the ship operated at Jutland where it was damaged by a mine in October 1944. Surrendered to the Norwegians, she was given to Britain in summer of 1945 and used as a target ship. Kit consists of over 470 parts on 10 sprues plus over 90 photo-etched parts.
1/350 Japanese Murasame Destroyer, 100% NEW TOOL! SRP $79.95
Never previously produced in plastic! The Murasame class destroyer is a third-generation general purpose destroyer in service with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. Incorporated into this new ship is stealth technology: both superstructure and hull are angled rather than traditional vertical surfaces. Also included is a new combat directions system, enhanced electronics and an upgraded missile system. Kit consists of over 630 parts on 12 sprues plus hull and deck, metal chain and photo-etched handrails and deck details. Included are an SH-60J helicopter and an MSC-681 minesweeper.
