[Quoted text] I spent a lot of time building and decaling tow trucks, crash trucks, fire trucks and fork-lifts, oh yes, and a Tilly, ( surely they are not really called that?).
The deck looks a lot busier now and still more aircraft to come:

Hello Julian, I'm not sure where the name came from, but the recovery cranes are indeed referred to as 'Tilly'. Nice job on the myriad of support vehicles. They add a splash of color and interest. Al

Thank you Al, Tilly must have been a very chunky female....................................

 cheers,

Hi Julian,
Great busy flight deck, really bringing the ship to life.

Hi Simon,
Thanks. I am not sure if I parked them where they should be parked but the result pleased me. Now a few more aircraft and some catwalks..............................
Cheers,
Julian

Hi Daniel, yes these are the plastic parts

I got fed up with the PE rotor blades falling of the hub, ( connection is extremely small and really needs to be soldered and I didn't feel like doing that), so I resorted to using the plastic rotors............................

Okay Julian. I hope the helo parts from the WEM sets I've bought are easier to work with.

Hope so too, this was very frustrating, just no way the join would hold with glue.

 Thanks Simon,
you can tell from the longer intervals between posts that I am getting more and more distracted by other models

Hard going now while it should be easy: have seen most things on this model pass by several times

Noted

. Looking at your work and then at my stash with the Wasp and all these extra supplies, it's a pity I can't spare more than a weekend for scale modeling at this time. I've ordered WEM's Pegasus hydrofoil and JAG's Asheville PGM. Hopefully these will be some nice weekend builds!

Thanks Simon, no, not much to do now:
Chaff dispensers, some fire hose reels, railings on the companion way extensions on the flight deck and the stern doors. A few decal and a landingcraft and an LCAC plus assorted crewmen. About two weeks work I would guess.
