Looking good Julian,
Like the level of detail in the hanger, hope a decent portion of it will be visible when the filight deck is on.
Si
Thanks Simon,
I am planning on leaving all the hangar doors open so it should be possible to see a reasonable amount of detail. I am still trying to work out what to do with the flight deck, leave some portions unpainted as a sort of skylight or to just be accurate and paint it all

Hi Julian,
Like the sound of all the hanger doors open, should be able to see quite a bit through them.
Will be interested to see what your final choice with the flight deck, I presume leaving portions of it clear would be to let light in, from the look of it you won't see much through it.

She's really motoring along now Julian. My vote goes for fully painting that deck, as I believe Si's right in saying that you won't see much through it.

Thanks guys,I can check out how much you see of the hangar bay when all the side plating is fitted. Put the flight deck on and blank it out with some tape or paper. Long way off yet though

Thanks Simon,
Not sure if they are supposed to have eyebrows inboard
Did add a bit of detail to an otherwise bland bulkhead though.
Added glass using krystal klear, nice detail that will disappear completely when the railing is fitted

Eyebrow or curtain rail ?
Keep it coming looking good, have you thought of LEDs in the hanger?

That would look great, flower patterned curtains
I did an experiment with LEDs on the USS Wasp build I did a while ago. Difference between the two models is that there was plenty of space to hide the wireing on the Wasp but absolutely none on the Hornet so I will pass this time.

Hi Daniel,
Thank you ! Glad to see you back again
How is the secret project going? The photos you sent were very impressive but that was about 5 weeks ago so I bet you have made a lot of progress since then, (and had maybe a small barbecue or two
).

Thanks Sean, the white is like a punch on the nose at the moment but it will look better when the flight deck is fitted.
Outboard is progressing nicely, dirty but not a scrapyard challenge,

ok, sorry to hear that didn't work out. Did you melt the submarine? Some resins produce a lot of heat when curing.

My friend dont worry...
work well but I do not apply resin. Simply tape-worm beginner's fears!!! Jajajajja
This one to 90 % only I fail to obtain figures and it would be finished
