Cracking stuff Julian,
Again your etchwork is splendid.
Good luck with the Tiffy, Mrs Duster bought me one as an anniversary present, I am still drooling into the box.

Open the Tiffy at your peril Simon, it's an entrancing model. The molds are crude compared to Trumpie but the model itself is magic. I am finding it hard to leave it be

Thanks Julian, appreciate the heads up. Looks pretty good on the sprue.
Always had a soft spot for the Tiffy, my Father was in the Royal Engineers in 1944 and his mob built some of the forward airfields in Normandy that Tiffies flew out of during the battle for the Falaise pocket.

Enough with the Typhoons already especially since you can't buy them in this part of the world -yet. (OK, just highly envious!)
However, the Hornet and air wing are looking fabulous!
cheers

Watching your Typhoon as well over at the other forum, very interesting build. I never imagined that these things come with a whole inner structure, always thought you'd get the wings, fuselage, some small stuff and that's it...amazing...

Looking really good, Julian, as is the Tiffy...
and yep, I'm with Michael and envious that there's a distinct lack of them here on the far side of the world!!!

Thanks Michael, The Typhoon will arrive down under eventually.
Think of the choice of add-ons you will have
P.s. How did your trip to London go? I forgot to ask, did you find any good model-shops?

This is an excellent model and the designer put an amazing amount of detail into it. I ordered it several months ago and was able to build up a nice collection of add-on parts before it arrived. It is living up to my expectations so far.

Hi Daniel,
the Hornet pales in comparison to the weathering you add to your submarine fleet
How are you surviving the Winter? Remember to drink enough anti-freeze, preferably a single malt or VSOP brand of anti-freeze. Can't have you getting frostbite, everyone is waiting for an update to your story of the Queen of the North

Hi Julian,
London was good, and even spent a day in Amsterdam, very pretty. As model shops, the only one I know of is Hannants out by Hendon where I went to see the Walrus. If there are others I will have to discover them next time.
cheers
