Cracking build but does it float?

I was also missing my Hornet fix but its better to walk away than try and rush it. Just don't forget the Hornet Appreciation Society.
Cheers Kev

Hi Russell,
thanks mate. Daniel did a great job yesterday in Hungary didn't he? Two wins in a car that Vettel is still having issues with. Really a great race.

Well, well well...somehow I have a weak spot for Germans winning...

Anyway, really stunning update on your Hornet Julian, that's fantastic work you are doing there. Your Carrier Air Wing looks awesome, as does the ship.
Cheers,
Jan

I feel you Julian. I had to take a break from the tank I was building in order for me to setup my work bench for building. Just finished it and just started painting again yesterday!
Someday I will be brave enough to post pictures of my builds!

The picture of the chapel is beautiful! My wife and I will be in Germany, Austria and Czech Republic in Sept with one night in London on the flight back home. Can't wait!
Mike

I am sure you will have a great holiday here in Europe Mike, I am very fond of Germany myself actually, (not too sure about German F1 drivers though, seem to be rather spoiled brats nowadays

). The chapel was really amazing,
the waves rolling into the bay made a very ominous hollow sound on the rocks just below the chapel. I really can't imagine how it would sound there with a good North-Westerly blowing.

 Thanks for the pointer Rob,
saw them yesterday and ordered them today

Should look good underneath that big pointy nose that the Typhoon has

Julian,
Your work continues to look really good. You are to be commended for following through on such a large project. Not all plastic modeler's have such patience.

Good morning Phillip,
thank you very much. The biggest problem with a long project like this is getting tempted away by newer models appearing on the marketplace

Julian,
your Hornet continues to amaze, it's great to see her taking shape and approaching commissioning - some time not to far away I suppose?
Great work,

Hi Jan,
attention is divided between the Hornet and my new 1/24 Typhoon

This means both builds go slower than in my usual tempo
