June 22nd update:
Having passed the Summer solstice, traveled to Schiphol for a new Revell Spitfire and watched "One lap Lewis" get his butt kicked again by Nico Rosberg I managed to find time to weather and decal the albatross hanging round my neck:





The final additions to the B-25's will be done this week.
Now what the heck is this:







Now one photo should make Phillip a lot happier .....

Julian,
Truly one of my favorite features of this beautiful Carrier build (out of so many) is the partially lowered deck elevator with the Wildcat on display.

Since I know absolutely nothing about Carrier life, I was wondering: What was the SOP for folding aircraft wings -- above deck? ... below deck? ... either/or? ... Were wings usually left extended in case of a scramble and folded only whenever space was a real concern?

Beautiful work!! These B25 with a bit of weathering stayed of marvels. Have care with the meter of pressure of oil of the 1 mark badly!!! Jajajajjaja This panel of instruments is mortal!!!!!

Hi Mike,
My seagoing experience was restricted to oceangoing tugs, freighters and heavy lift vessels. I can safely say that space on a ship is always a premium requirement so if the wings could fold they would be folded. That's why I did the surgery on my Devastators on this build when parking them below deck.

Great job on the B25's the weathering is superb, subtle yet brings out the detail.

I guess the old fashioned, tried and true, pedestals on a nice wooden board.You are far more experienced than I.

Just to echo what Simon says great work with this build and the weathering is spot on and as for displaying this Beast of a model I think it would look like a masterpiece any where definitely not one for the shelf of shame

That is where you are wrong Darrell, I rarely have the patience to mount my builds when they are finished.

Thanks Simon, the weathering is an improvement, if you don't you end up with a rather bland, "cloned" looking collection of aircraft sitting on deck.
