**** UPDATE ****
A layer of matt clear coat was sprayed over the hull to give it it's final shape.
Micro Kristal Klear was used for adding the glasses in the portholes. MKK dried clear and shiny and looks like glass when dry.

The next step will be the mounting of the wooden deck... which will be huge fun I think. Then the details on the decks follow as well as the black stripes on the bottom around each gun socket.
CHEERS - Michael

Awesome Micha, absolutely outstanding work!!!

It is hard to believe, but you are really beating yourself here as compared to your first Bismarck. Great, and a fantastic build log to follow!

Wow, Micha, this is truly amazing stuff

!! You are really making the most out of this Pontos set, I really don't know if I had the patience to do all this tiny portholes, scuttles and the like - but your results are most impressive!!
Cheers

Micha,
that's absolutely amazing work!!! Your PE work is magnificent!

At this stage of your build, can you compare it to the KA set you did before? I have to go back to your first 1/200 Bismarck build log some time and look at the bridge and superstructure next to this one...just curious...

 Stunning build!!

Looking forward to every new post here!!
Cheers
